In response to the blame game initiated by the Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, who claimed that he is finding it difficult to pay workers salary in the State due to the heavy debt accumulated by the immediate past state Governor Nasiru Elrufai, his son Bashir Elrufai had blasted the the Governor describing him and his aides as incompetent.
Reports have said that the Kaduna State Governor Sani had on Saturday during a Town Hall Meeting in Kaduna, complained that he inherited a huge debt burden of $587m, N85bn and 115 contractual liabilities from the immediate past regime of El-Rufai. He added that he is finding it difficult to even pay workers’ salaries in the State.
Kaduna State has the highest debt burden among all the states in Nigeria after Lagos, even as Lagos state has capacity to settle it’s debt due to the strength of it’s economy when compared to Kaduna.
Bashir Elrufai made the response recently on his X handle berating the Governor and his team, accusing them of incompetence, contract inflation and Forex speculation and wondering why they were giving debt burden as an excuse for their poor performance.
He even accused Governor Uba Sani of sleeping in Abuja circulated by incompetent Aides.
Bashir Elrufai says: “These guys have realized that they are wholly incompetent and the only way to mask the nonsense is to deflect. From a Governor that is always sleeping in Abuja to a litany of incompetent aides that were only rewarded for foolish political reasons” he stated.
