Bolanle Muse, who also holds the esteemed title of Iyalaje Yoruba of Kano State, stated that there is need for people to assist and contribute to the less preveleged as a way of alleviating the present prevailing economic downturn.

She expressed deep concern over the state of the Nigerian economy, stating that as a patriotic citizen, she feels compelled to contribute her “little quota” towards alleviating the hardships faced by the citizenry, especially the youths.

“The  economic situation in Nigeria today is challenging and as someone who believes in the potentials of our youths, I have to step in and make a difference” she said.

Bolanle Muse also attributed her inspiration to the First Lady of the Federation, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, whom she describes as a beacon of hope for many Nigerians.

Senator Tinubu, through her pet project, The Renewed Hope Foundation, has been a key player in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to uplift Nigerians out of poverty and empower women and youths across the country.

“The First Lady has set the pace in helping others rise above poverty, and her vision has inspired me to follow in her footsteps,” she added.

She particularly praised the First Lady’s initiative of encouraging Nigerian women to engage in home gardening, an effort aimed at boosting food production and achieving food self-sufficiency in the country.

The competitive nature of this initiative, coupled with the money attached to it, has motivated many Nigerians to take up home gardening, contributing to the nation’s food security.

“This initiative by Senator Oluremi Tinubu is not just about growing food; it’s about nurturing a self-sufficient nation where everyone plays a part in its progress,” she stated.

She further called on all privileged personalities in other ethnic nationalities to do their best to empower their women and youths so that together the Nigerian economy can be revitalized.
