Shamsudeen Bala, son of Bauchi State governor, has threatened to take legal action against popular northern satirist, Dan-Bello for an alleged defamation against his person and reputation.

It is gathered that browbeat comes after Dan-Bello sustained fierce criticisms of the performance of the administration of Shamsudeen’s father recently.

In one of his contents, which is already getting a trajectory of engagement from his followers, Dan-Bello criticised Governor Mohammed for poor performance in education and health.

He displayed pictures of delapidated schools buildings in the local governments of the state as well as those of health centres.

Bello also criticized the construction of a government house at the cost of N6 billion saying that would have salvaged the poor situation of education and health sectors in the state.

Also, he satirically asked without quoting Shamsudeen’s name, “Can you tell me whose son was recently apprehended overseas for three weeks after being caught for money laundering to purchase houses?”

Reacting on his Facebook page, Shamsudeen asked Dan-Bello to come up with evidence to juxtapose his claims that he was arrested for alleged money laundering in the United Kingdom.

He added it could have been a news subject in Nigeria had he been arrested for money laundering.

“I Challenge Danbello to come up with the evidence of such allegations that I was arrested and prosecuted for money laundering in the United Kingdom or else we are going to court with him Insha Allah for Defamation and Character Assassination,” Shamsudeen declared.
