1000 Beneficiaries Smile As They Receive Start-up Kits In Kano

1000 beneficiaries from different entrepreneurship have received start-up kits from Yusuf Umar Datti, the House of Representatives member representing Kura-Madobi-Garunmalam from Kano.

The event took place yesterday in Kano where beneficiaries received 4 cars, 3 tricycles, 50 motorcycles and 1000 bags of fertilizer. Others received 50 sewing machines and 50 water pumps to farmers.

There are also those among the beneficiaries that received 50 grinding machines, 3 youths received N500,000 each, with another set of 150 women getting N30,000 each from his constituency.

Delivering an address during the event, Datti explained that the program is designed to support the economic well-being of his constituents.

“As their representative, I see it as my duty to create sustainable initiatives that would improve the quality of life of the people” he stated.

He further spoke on some executed projects as well as ongoing projects that include renovation of the General Hospital in Kura, feeder road construction, construction of primary school classrooms as well as installation of solar powered boreholes in the constituency.

Also speaking to newsmen, one of the beneficiaries who received a car for his transportation business Datti Danmairogo, described it as his dream come true.

“This car is a dream come true to me. I am truly grateful to Honorable Datti for this empowerment” he stated.

Representing the state governor Abba Yusuf, the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Yusuf Ibrahim said the governor commends the lawmaker for putting smiles on the faces of the people.
