Popular Kannywood actress, Saratu Gidado Daso is dead.
A family source told newsmen that the popular actress died in the early hours of Tuesday in Kano.
Sources say, she died after eating the early morning meal for fasting and went back to bed, only to wake up no more.
She was buried later this evening at 4.00 pm, according to the source
Saratu was born on 17th January 1968 has been a prominent figure in the Hausa film industry for almost two decades.
