A Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s political ally and chairman of Arewa Media Group, Alhaji Danbilki Kwamanda, has cautioned President Bola Tinubu against allowing interest groups to hide under state laws to violate Court Orders that stopped the reinstatement of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II

Kwamanda, who has been a political voice in the Kano political arena, told newsmen in Kano on Monday that, what the state government is doing, violating the federal high court order stopping the reinstatement of Muhammadu Sanusi II, is setting a bad prescidence that will not augur well for the residents.

“We cannot understand how a people that celebrated being brought back to power by the court will now stand against a substantive Court Order that stops them from carrying out an illegality”.

The Chairman of Arewa Media Group also notes that “the insistence that the reinstated Emir must stay and continue parading himself as the authentic Emir of Kano, has violate the rules of law and constitutes a threat to the Nation’s Constitution and general wellbeing”.

He then called the attention of President Ahmad Bola Tinubu to, as a matter of urgency, do the needful by strongly addressing the matter to bring peace and stability in the State.

“Although, I’m a Politician, but honestly this time around politics aside, there is great danger in what Kano state government is doing, the Court Order must be respected to allow peace to reign” he added.

“Why is there controversy associated with the reinstated Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II? Look at how he was booted out of government by former President GoodLuck Jonathan, look at how he was removed and the reason why he was removed, now are you returning him to continue anarchy in Kano or what?

“We call on President Tinubu not allow this bad precedent be set during his tenure” he said.
