The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC has explained why some depositors are yet to receive reimbursement of the defunct Heritage Bank. Speaking at the opening of a three-day retreat for senior management and executive staff of the NDIC, held in Kano on Friday, the Director/Chief Executive Officer of the corporation, Bello Hassan, said the depositors have not received their reimbursement because they have not provided their alternative bank accounts. The Center for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) has launched a Women in Digital Economy Fund Project (WiDEF) to address gender digital divide and enhance business opportunities for women in Northern Nigeria.
