The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said that the former Kogi State governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello, has been detained by the commission. The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has confirmed that the Port Harcourt Refinery in Rivers State has commenced crude oil processing. The Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the compny, Femi Soneye, broke the news on Tuesday. The Federal Government has finally issued a termination letter to Julius Berger PLC over the construction of Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road project reviewed at N740 billion naira. The termination letter, signed by the Director Legal Services, Federal Ministry of Works, Barr. C.O Assam, said the decision was in accordance with Clause 63 Standard Condition of Contract (Road Works) Volume 1, 1999 Edition with effect from the date of service of the letter.
