The Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industry (NASSI), Kano chapter has called on the Federal Government to rescind it’s decision to increase the electricity tariff in Nigeria to avoid killing the sector. Just twenty-four hours after the early morning attack on a mosque in a village at Gezawa local government area of Kano state on Wednesday, no fewer than eleven persons have been confirmed dead and 25 other hospitalized with different degree of burns. Following an early morning incident where a mosque in which about 40 persons were performing the early morning prayer was set ablaze by a man, the perpetrator has willingly submitted himself to the police.
