Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano state has ordered immediate investigation into the alleged contract of medical supplies to the 44 local government areas of the state. This is contained in a joint statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Baba Dantiye and the Director General, Media to the governor, Sunusi Bature on Sunday. Motorist entering Kano from Zaria road have on Saturday cried out having to wait in hold up for about three hours to enter the ancient city. The hold up was caused by an emergency repair of the Dotsa bridge area before reaching the entry Kano flyover at Na’ibawa, handled by a contractor.
