Al-Bishak Honored With Co-op Society Award For Selfless Service And Enduring Legacies

Professor Mallam Al-Bishak was Thursday, April 10, 2025, honoured by the NSUK Health Services Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. with an Award and Commendation Letter for “numerous achievements and milestones accomplished during his tenure as President (2009-2012).”

Al-Bishak was the founding President of the NHSMCS Ltd who registered it as a Co-op Society with the Nasarawa State government from its former Welfare Committee of the NSUK Health Services Department.

The commendation letter specified the Co-op’s achievements under Al-Bishak’s stellar and pioneering efforts as follows:

“Increase in membership strength, improvement in financial stability and successful projects initiatives amongst others.”

The commendation letter also added, “Your legacies continue to have positive impact in our cooperative society.”

The letter was signed by Mr. Akwaden Stephen Thomas, the current NHSMCS Ltd President.

Al-Bishak thanked the organizers for the recognition, and prayed for God’s guidance to the current Co-op Society’s leadership in steering its affairs to greater success.
