Kantinkwari, Kofar Wambai and Sabongari Market Youths Association has applauded president Bola Tinubu for the recent appointment of Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, as State Minister for Housing and Urban Development.
Speaking through their leader Shaheed Abdulaziz on Friday, the youth group described Atta as a grassroot politician that has promoted socio-economic development, adding that he would reflect same as minister.
“We have no doubt in our minds that Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata immeasurable experience as member of Kano state House of Assembly where he was Speaker of the Assembly, in addition to his interpersonal relationships will add value in steering the the affairs of government under president Tinubu’s administration.
“This will lead to the delivery of good out put that will definitely quench the thearst of for achieving true nationhood” he stated.
They youth leader further described Ata as a known apostle of politics without bitterness and ahas a listening ear saying “these are qualities we need in our upcoming politicians that should be encouraged”.
He added that with these qualities of Ata he will perform well in promoting and achieving the set goals of the government that will have multiplier effect on the the economy and benefit the generality of the people.
These youth belong the popular Kantin Kwarai Textile market of Kano, the popular Wambai market renown for home utensils, and the historic Sabon Gari market.
While appreciating president Bola Tinubu for the appointment, the also called on the appointee to be up and doing and not to let them down.
