Another Pandemonium As Sanusi II, Bayero Vow To Lead Friday Service In The Same Mosque

There is pandemonium as in the ancient city of Kano as the two contending Emirs, the reinstated Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II and the dethroned Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, issue announcements to lead the Juma’at service at the Central Mosque located at the Palace.

Emir Sanusi II, who is currently in the main Kano Palace, close to the Friday Mosque, is expected to lead the two units Friday service.

Emir Sanusi II leads the Juma’at service at the Palace Mosque as the Emir of the City, a statement explained had explained earlier, Thursday night.

The statement signed by Danburan Kano, Munir Sanusi Bayero, spelt out the movement of the reinstated Emir Sanusi II to the Mosque to lead the Juma’at service.

The statement by Danburan invited Kano residents to come and listen to the sermon to be delivered by the Emir, Sanusi II.

In another twist a statement from an aide of the deposed Emir, Aminu Ado Bayero invites residents to join him at the Emir’s Palace Friday Mosque to observe the Juma’at prayer.

Part of the statement says that the movement to the Emir’s Palace Mosque starts at 12.30 pm from the Nasarawa mini palace to the Kano Central Mosque which is some few kilometers away.

Meanwhile, the police are expected to announce their position on the latest development.
