Office of the Special Assistant on Public Affairs to the Kano State Governor in partnership with Stand for Peace Initiative on the occasion of the 2024 Children’s Day celebrated on 27th May supported by the Kano Council of World Merit & Prime Gibson organized a fun fair which was attended by children, teachers and parents in the state.

The event which held at Government Secondary School Dabo, Kano was the second of its kind for Stand for Peace Initiative whom in the words of her Founder & Executive Coordinator, Nworisa Michael is aimed at not just celebrating but seeks to cease the moment to speak to the consciousness of its attendees on the need to grow up with the ‘class room love’.

Where he illustrated to the children that just as they stay, play and learn together in the classroom they should grow to share same spirit of love as this will help our society to be more free from crisis.

While also citing John F. Kennedy ” Children are the living message we send to a time we will not see”, urged parents and guardians in doing more in better nurturing their wards to shun ethno-religious sentiments for a better world.

Special Assistant on Public Affairs to the Executive Governor of Kano State Hon. Usman Baba represented by Hon. Abdulrasheed Abubakar commending the initiative reminded parents and guardians on the need for good parental upbringing which importantace to the family and by extension the society can not be overemphasized especially on the areas of peace and development.
